Hercules, the Rochdale Hornets mascot, presented tickets to youngsters at Mahdlo Junior Zone
Hercules, the Rochdale Hornets mascot, presented tickets to youngsters at Mahdlo Junior Zone in Oldham and was mobbed as soon as he walked through the door.
Safeguard sponsor Rochdale Hornets and as part of that agreement they are able to give young people and groups free season tickets. Mahdlo will decide how the season tickets are used.
Education and Community Lead Ben Ingham said: "I love rugby league and was really pleased to sponsor the club. This is a huge part of our plans for the future, working to get young people interested in sport both watching and playing.”
Mahdlo’s Claire Crossfield said: "We’re achieving record numbers at our Junior Zone and a visit like this is just what we need to get more youngsters through the door.”
