Pink Pants Day

Date published: 29 April 2014

The final away game of the season sees supporters from up and down the country donning fancy dress, and as Rochdale AFC get set to face Newport County at Rodney Parade on Saturday, fans have been using social media to come up with a common dress theme for the match.

Manager Keith Hill got supporters, who attended Dale’s Easter Monday clash with Bristol Rovers, talking as he switched from his usual tracksuit bottoms and hoody, to pink pants and a smart jacket.

The attire caught the imagination and it looks as though the 1,300, who’ll be joining the promotion party at Rodney Parade, will be dressed just like Hilly after choosing the pink pants theme.
