Family fun for Featherstone fixture

Date published: 03 July 2014

Rochdale Hornets return to Spotland this Sunday to take on the much fancied Featherstone Rovers and have plenty on offer to keep the kids entertained.

As Co-Operative Fortnight draws to a close, Rochdale Hornets, the first supporter owned professional rugby league club, are celebrating by hosting family based activities ahead of the match.

From 1.00pm families are invited to Spotland to have a go on the giant, inflatable, try scorer challenge, get your faces painted and even visit the Cooperatives Plan Bee activity centre, as well as have a browse through what other local, regional and national cooperatives have to offer.

As a special incentive, the Hornets are offering a special £30 advanced family ticket, which includes entry for two adults, two children and two match day programmes if purchased in advance, a saving of £12 (25%).

With Featherstone set to bring in excess of 600 passionate Yorkshiremen to Spotland, the Hornets hope the people of Rochdale get behind them and cheer them to victory.

Pre match dining is still available for the game, which includes a two course lunch in the Flyers Hospitality Lounge and your match ticket, priced at £25 (£10 season ticket holders).

Please email info@hornetsrugbyleague.com or call the Hornets office on 01706 648004. Bookings can also be made onine.
