Date published: 01 September 2014

Dan Buckley was named as player of the match following Norden’s win over Clifton in the CLL under 18s Taylor Cup final at Manchester Road on Saturday.

Buckley took five for 23 in seven overs as Clifton totalled 109.

The home total was mainly down to Will Davidson who scored 49 before falling to a catch off Teeno Saeed’s bowling.

Only one other player, Dorsey, got into double figures.

Norden were 75 for two when rain ended play. After some confusion as to how many overs constituted a match Clifton offered the game to Norden.
