Andrew Kilpatrick has accepted an invitation to take up the position of club president of Rochdale AFC.
Mr Kilpatrick, an investment banker, is the son of the late Brian Kilpatrick, who was a life-long supporter of Rochdale Football Club and a former Director.
Mr Kilpatrick was at Spotland on Saturday to witness Dale’s victory over Coventry City, and is looking forward to being part of Dale’s continuing success.
“I’m delighted to have accepted the invitation - it is a great honour,” said Mr Kilpatrick.
“I look forward to continuing the long association that my family has had with the football club.”
