Goalkeeper Johny Diba signs pro contract

Goalkeeper Johny Diba has signed his first professional contract.
Diba, who turned 17-years-old last month, has signed a deal which keeps him contracted to Rochdale until the summer of 2017. The club also has a year’s option.
Diba joined Dale at the young age of eleven and has progressed through the club’s successful Academy.
After impressing in the youth set-up, the former St Cutherbert’s RC High School pupil, made the step up to the senior squad this summer.
Diba took part in the first team’s pre-season training camp in Tenerife and has been Dale’s number two this seaso, making his senior debut in August after coming off the bench at Chesterfield to replace the injured Josh Lillis.
