MK Dons 2 - 2 Rochdale

Date published: 25 November 2014

Rochdale earned a creditable draw against high-flying MK Dons at Denbigh Stadium tonight.

Dons took the lead midway through the first half when Dele Alli found Grigg's who lobbed over Logan in the Dale goal.

The home supporters celebrations were still ringing through the impressive stadium when they were silenced just 90 seconds later as Flanagan put through his own net.

Dons had the better of the second half but Dale took the lead against the run of play with a superb long-range strike from Noble-Lazarus.

With just six minutes left on the clock Dons substitue Danny Green pounced to equalise from close range.

Flanagan had a chance in injury-time to break the travelling Dale supporters hearts when he picked up a loose ball in the penalty area but much to their relief he was unable to find the target.

Rochdale's point sees them leapfrog Peterborough and local rivals Oldham, who they face on Saturday at Spotland, to close the gap on the play-off places.
