Rochdale Hornets news

Date published: 22 January 2015

Rochdale Hornets has established a new charity called Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation and will officially launch on Thursday 29 January.

Game on

Discussions have taken place with Rochdale Mayfield surrounding this weekend’s friendly.

Looking at the weather forecast, it is anticipated that the game will go ahead as planned.

With temperatures set to stay above freezing and rain forecast, the snow that has been coming down should not pose a problem.

Entry will be via a £3 donation to the Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation on the gate, with gates opening from 1pm, kick off at 2pm.

Volunteers wanted

Hornets are looking for any interested parties to step forward as volunteers.

In particular, they are looking for people to help with general administration tasks at the clubs offices during the day, a 'handy man' to give the changing area a lick of paint, someone to help print the names/numbers on the shirts, a programme editor for the season and people to help on match day in various capacities (up to kick off and after the match)

If you have some spare time, skills or expertise that could help the club, please get in touch: info@hornetsrugbyleague.com
