Rugby Road Recreation and Bowling Club summer fair and bowling competition
The Rugby Road Recreation and Bowling Club annual summer fair and mixed pairs bowling competition today was held as a way to raise money for the club.
Sue Walsh from the club said: “Every little helps so whatever we raise will be great and all of the money will go directly back to the club.”
The summer fair included a number of stalls such as bric-a-brac, guess the weight of the cake, name the bird and a tombola.
Money raised from the event will go towards the upkeep of the green and re-seeding.
