Muntazir Mehdi wins gold and Rehan Iqbal, bronze in Taekwondo Tournament

Muntazir Mehdi, Rehan Iqbal and Huseyn Mikayilov from Matthew Moss High School at the National Taekwondo Tournament
Muntazir Mehdi, Rehan Iqbal and Huseyn Mikayilov from Matthew Moss High School all competed in the National Taekwondo Tournament on 12 September – 13 September.
Muntazir Mehdi won gold and Rehan Iqbal, bronze, both train with Horizon Taekwondo Academy which also picked up first place in the Team Selection Trophy.
The tournament had over 650 participants, participating in a round robin style tournament of full-contact bouts for children and adults.
The tournament is the official ranking tournament for Olympic Taekwondo athletes and clubs based in the UK.
