Details:

Groups, businesses and individuals in Norden Village are backing a campaign to get half a million people out and about cleaning up their local communities in March 2017.

We will be covering most areas of Norden, especially certain grot spot areas, like the path behind the old Norden Motor Co building leading to Ashbourne Nursing Home.  All bags and litter pickers are being provided from Rochdale Council, so appropriate clothing required for the day, and a pair of gloves.  Also we will be providing light snacks and refreshments along the way.

The aim for the Great British Spring Clean is to inspire even more people from clubs, communities, schools and businesses across the country to get active and help clean up their neighbourhoods.

The Friends of Jubilee Park are inviting volunteers to meet at Norden Jubilee Park, next to the bus terminus to help clean up this popular play area.
