The bowling club will be holding a 'Juniors Day' on the afternoon Sunday 9th April from 1.30pm.
Any juniors aged between 8 and 16 years who wish to learn the sport of Crown Green Bowling will be shown what is necessary and will have the opportunity of taking part in a Round Robin (for proficient juniors), Target Bowls and Spider competitions.
It is hoped that from this experience, some juniors will become members of Queen's Park for an annual membership fee of £6.
Regular weekly junior training and practice sessions are held on Wednesdays from 6.15pm starting on April 12th.
The club again intends to have a Junior Team competing in the Rochdale Junior League with League Games on Friday evenings.
