Details:

Hop down to The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre and join in the Easter fun with FREE storytelling, crafts and a special Easter Egg hunt plus, WIN a giant 50cm chocolate egg!

The Shopping Centre will be hosting a variety of eggstra-special activities for all the family to enjoy.

Between 11am and 3:30pm, young shoppers can partake in a FREE Easter egg hunt around the Centre to be in with a chance of winning a giant 50cm chocolate Easter egg!

Shoppers are invited to collect an entry form from the craft workshop and keep their eyes peeled as they wander around the stores in search of hidden Easter egg symbols located in specific shop windows.

Alongside the hunt, a story telling session will be taking place on the hour, every hour, throughout the day. The sessions will take place in the recently launched Honesty Library, on the upper mall near Brighthouse, which has a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable sofas for shoppers to sit back and relax. While visiting the library, shoppers are encouraged to pass on the story by taking a book, leaving a book or giving a donation to the sponsored charity of the year – The Brain Tumour Charity.

That’s not all - children can also let their imaginations run wild by creating their very own Easter themed bookmark at our eggcellent craft workshop. The bookmark can then be used in their new book which can be picked up from the Honesty Library.

And whilst visiting, The Wheatsheaf have the perfect retailers to pick up last minute Easter crafts and activities from, such as: Argos, Ryman, Wilko and much more.

Entry fee: Free
