Details:

NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group’s (HMR CCG) next Governing Body meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday 20 July 2018. Members of the public are invited to come along and observe the meeting being held at Number One Riverside.

The Governing Body meeting starts at 10.30am and is where discussions and decisions happen in relation to the planning and funding of local health services. Regular items on the agenda include quality and safeguarding, finance and performance.

Additional items on the agenda for the meeting include the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) Annual Report 2018, a quarterly update on the Kirkholt Development and a North East Sector (NES) Committee in Common update.

Public questions are welcome and can either be submitted in advance, through the online form on the CCG’s website or asked during the open questions slot at the beginning of each meeting. We would ask people who have questions to ask at the meeting to arrive half an hour before the meeting, at 10am, so we are able to accurately capture the question as well as contact details to ensure a full response is provided. Our engagement lead will be available to discuss any other queries.

Please report to reception on arrival at Number One Riverside. It is requested that anyone submitting questions, in advance of the Governing Body meeting, does so at least 24 hours before the meeting commences. This will allow sufficient time for the question to be picked up and processed, before the meeting takes place.

The meeting takes place as follows:

Date: Friday 20 July 2018

Time: 10.30am-12.30pm

Venue: Training and Conference Suite, Number One Riverside, Smith St, Rochdale

Dr Chris Duffy, HMR CCG Chair and local GP said: “Our Governing Body meetings are held in public providing local people with the opportunity to come along and see how decisions about healthcare in Rochdale borough are made. We regularly welcome members of the public to our meetings and I would encourage anyone who would like to find out more about what we do and how we make decisions to come along. If you have a question please do submit it and we can respond.

“If you can’t make it to the meetings, follow us on Twitter @NHSHMR for live tweets giving an overview of items being discussed and decisions made.”

The agenda and papers for the meeting, responses to previous public questions and meeting schedules can also be found on the Governing Body page of our website.

If you have any special requirements that need to be accommodated at the meeting, please let us know by emailing hmrcommunications@nhs.net

HMR CCG Governing Body meetings are held bi-monthly and following July’s meeting, the next one will be on Friday 21 September 2018 at Number One Riverside.
