Details:

The annual May Day celebrations will feature Maypole dancing, childrens entertainer, stalls, refreshments and live bands.

There will also be free books from Middleton Rotary Club as part of Buzzing Bee Bonanza.

• 12 noon Parade around Jubilee Park
• 12.10 - Official opening by Mayor
• 12.20 - Maypole dancing by children from Parkfield and Alkrington Primary Schools
• 12.40 - Mr Zippy Childrens entertainer
• 13.10 - Manchester Community Pipe Band
• 13.30 - Maypole part 2
• 13.50 - Mr Zippy part 2
• 14.15 - Pipe Band
• 14.45 - Live music featuring Swampdog and Caitlin
• Special guest appearances by Ben and Holly (nickelodeon) Iggle Piggle, Mickey and Minnie Mouse
• Close around 5pm
