Details:

On Saturday 10 August Woolies Club is proud to host a Charity Fun Day attended by The Mayor of Rochdale. All donations will go to Regain, a charity devoted to sports people who have spinal injury.

Local man Andy Walker, who is quadriplegic, will be on hand to demonstrate his specially adapted Cycle, a 4 wheeler which he guides with his chin. Andy is taking part in the REGAIN Cycle Kenya challenge in October 2019.

The challenge, an incredible 400km route through Kenya’s Rift Valley to Lake Victoria, will further raise funds for REGAIN.

Attractions include:

  • A soft play area with ball pool and Hop Scotch mat (indoors)
  • A team of hair braiders with added Glitter
  • Face painting
  • Tuck shop cakes and toffees
  • Barbecue
  • Name the Guide Dog puppy
  • A martial arts demonstration by Kaizen-Do Karate
  • Rugby fun and games
  • And lots more favourites.

The Fun Day will be from 2pm until 5pm followed by a Karaoke session in the lounge until late.

As always, all families are welcome to enjoy a Woolies ‘world famous’ family event.
