Wardle Scarecrow Festival

12 October 2019

Saturday 12 October 2019
10am - dusk

Wardle Village

Details:

The event will take place on Saturday 12th August from 10am - Dusk.

The aim is to bring community groups, schools, businesses, individuals and families together! Maybe you could team up with friends of neighbours and all make the scarecrow together...teamwork!

Our entry forms are now available on the website. Scarecrows must be on display in your gardens or businesses etc. on 12th October and entries need to be in by 5th October.

We will do a map of where all the scarecrows are located and the idea is you all have a walk around the village and see if you can spot the scarecrows! Maybe stopping off at The Globe, Charlie’s Coffee & Cakes or The Hare and Hounds for a drink or bite to eat along the way.

It’s all for fun, there will be a small prize for the winning Scarecrow, and you will be able to vote for your favourite on Facebook. Don’t worry if you are not up for making a scarecrow, you can still join in, view the scarecrows and cast your vote! You could even make a mini scarecrow!

Enter your Scarecrow using the link below.
