The event is intended for anyone who shares the opinion that the nature site is a local asset that should preserved and utilised.

The Groundwork team will be on site from 11am – 2pm to help coordinate the establishment of the ‘Friends Of’ group, actively seeking volunteers to get involved.

In addition to this, there will be a number of activities taking place at Boarshaw Clough including:

FREE FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Bring down the kids or grandchildren for free face painting, arts & crafts and food growing sessions.

GUIDED NATURE WALK
Take part in a guided nature walk around the site, giving you an opportunity to see the site and see the changes into Spring after the greenspace wakes up after its winter rest!
