Autumn Fair

13 November 2021

Saturday 13 November 2021
1.30pm - 3.30pm

St Andrew's Church, Dearnley
Arm Road
Littleborough
OL15 8NJ

Details:

Whether you live in Dearnley, Smithy Bridge, Smallbridge, Wardle or not, please spare two hours to attend our annual St Andrew's Autumn Fair.

Entry is FREE, refreshments are available and you'll find lots of things to retain your interest for a while, including tombola, raffles and the sale of home-made cakes, jams, chutney, etc.

The Autumn Fair is one of our chief money-raisers and we have suffered financially like everyone else in the last two years of Covid and lockdowns.

Saturday's Fair, therefore, is the most important for many years in terms of helping our bank balance, keeping the wolf from the door and enabling us to meet the pastoral needs of the parish, as we have done since 1895.

That was the year our current church building was built, opened and consecrated and if, God willing, it is to survive for another 125 years we're going to need a load of successful Autumn Fairs in order to meet running repairs and general upkeep.

St Andrew's is more than just a church; it's a home to many within the community and it welcomes all without any fear of discrimination or prejudice. Our doors are open for more than services, offering a centre for use by friendship groups such as Girl Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and several more.

We would absolutely love to see you at any of our services or other events... like the Autumn Fair.

Entry fee: Free
