Neeli Mosque Rochdale is taking part in this year's MCB Visit my Mosque open day on Sunday 4 September.

Neeli Mosque is taking part again in a national initiative by many Mosques up and down the country on that day. The doors will be open from 12pm to 4pm, providing an opportunity for people from all faiths (or no faith), cultures and diverse backgrounds to:

  • Visit and get a first-hand look at the day-to-day workings of a Mosque.
  • Observe Muslims praying
  • See their exhibition on Islam
  • Take part in Q&A with the Imam from 1pm
  • Learn about mainstream Islam and discuss current issues
  • Help break down the barriers of ignorance and misunderstanding
  • Help in us all playing our part in promoting understanding, peace and harmony in the Rochdale communities
  • Experience their hospitality.
  • See the youth club set-up (PS5, Xbox X, football goals etc will be available for the young and 'young-at-heart')
  • Refreshments
