Details:

The team at Jolly Josh are inviting the whole community to join them as they celebrate the local charity’s 5th Anniversary and the official opening of its brand-new, purpose-built Hydrotherapy Pool.

The Centre’s Open Day on Saturday the 24th of September will see the Jolly Josh team, joined by Members of Rochdale’s Youth Council Henry Leahy and Deputy MYP Joyce Kapiamba, at the official ribbon ceremony to open the Borough’s only Hydrotherapy Pool dedicated to children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), complex needs or physical disability.

To mark the milestone of 5 years since the charity was founded by local mum Carole Kelly, the Centre is opening its doors to the whole community.

The Open Day will be a double celebration when the public can see, for the first time, Rochdale’s only child orientated hydrotherapy pool and see first-hand the positive experiences it creates for children and their families by watching a demonstration on the day.

Jolly Josh opened a brand-new centre in Castleton solely for children with Profound and Multiple Learning disabilities, complex medical needs or physical disability. Jolly Josh provides children of varying age groups in the Borough with a safe place to meet and engage with other children, along with peer support for their families.
