Details:

As we get closer and closer to Halloween the nights draw in and spooky things start to stir.

Once again, Historic Cheapside proudly presents Middleton Scarefest, the most frightening trip into Middleton's dark history you can experience. If you made it through Murder at the Mill last year, you might just make it through this time

Slip inside Lodge Mill to a much darker and supernatural Middleton, not the town you may know this is the one that lurks in the dark corners of your mind and the liminal spaces in between your everyday world and your dreams. Dare you enter the Forest of Nightmares this year and experience a time when Middleton was known as sleepy hollow, but it wasn't a headless horseman that stalked our woods... something much worse lurked in the dark shadows and crooked paths.

Feeling brave, then visit the Ice Cream Shop at Lodge. Dates for the tour – Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October 2022

Tickets £5

  • Children's tours from 4pm – 5.50pm
  • Adult tours from 6pm – 9.30pm

Wear sensible shoes, some ground is uneven & don't forget to wear your Halloween costume!

Entry fee: £5
