Details:

This Friday is White Ribbon Day - part of the broader White Ribbon campaign to end male violence and abuse against women and girls.

For a second year, a Vigil will be held at St Mary in the Baum to honour women who have died due to violence and abuse perpetrated by men. The names of all of the women in the UK (that we know of) who have died as a result of this, over the last 12 months, will be read aloud.

Guest speakers will include Tony Lloyd MP and we will also hear from Rochdale AFC players and others who have signed up to support the White Ribbon campaign.

Everyone - whether you’re a woman, man or child! - is invited to attend. They hope to see you there.

Entry fee: Free, donations welcome
