EFL Trust Female Talent Inclusion Day

Rochdale AFC is looking for talented female footballers to join them on the programme, which starts with an EFL Trust Female Talent Inclusion Day on Friday 27 October.

The Talent Inclusion Programme, set up by the EFL Trust and FA, aims to create a pathway for young women and girls from local communities, no matter what their background, to full England Women’s honours.

Rochdale Girls Development Centre is supported by Rochdale-born Lioness and Nike athlete Keira Walsh, who has provided a free Nike training kit and jacket for every selected player, as well as training equipment for the sessions.

The Talent Inclusion Day will be held at Heywood Sports Village, with the following times for different age groups:

  • U12/13, 9am - 10.30am
  • U14/15, 11.30am - 1pm
  • U16, 2pm - 3.30pm

The aim of these sessions is to provide a quality environment, with higher level coaching and playing ability, in order to support players achieve their maximum potential.

They will also run at Heywood Sports Village, 7pm-8pm, on alternative weeks for the age groups above.
