Fantastic volunteers have come up with an amazing festive idea this Christmas - a Santa Express. This event will be running on both Saturday 16 December and Sunday 17 December.

Father Christmas will travel through Whitworth village in a custom built sleigh - look out for him from your doorstep or come to one of the allocated stops and meet him!

The route for the Santa Express on Saturday 16 December is as follows:

6.00pm Along Market street
6.05pm Co-op
6.10pm Whitworth Rake
6.15pm Lobden Golf Club (new)
6.30pm Waingap View via Coppice
6.45pm Tonacliffe Way
7.05pm The Oxford
7.20pm The Birches
7.30pm Promenade lay-by
7.40pm Hallfold Church
7.55pm Wallbank Drive (East)
8.10pm Wallbank Drive (West)

Please note - times and route may vary due to traffic and weather conditions.

Come and meet Santa at one of the allocated stops and collect a bag of sweets or wave to him from your window as he drives by!
