Fantastic volunteers have come up with an amazing festive idea this Christmas - a Santa Express. This event will be running on both Saturday 16 December and Sunday 17 December, but with different routes.
Father Christmas will travel through Whitworth village in a custom built sleigh - look out for him from your doorstep or come to one of the allocated stops and meet him!
The route for the Santa Express on Sunday 17 December is as follows:
6.00pm Travel along Market Street past Tesco Express
6.05pm Orama drive
6.20pm Cowm Reservoir
6.25pm Railway Close (new)
6.35pm Halfway House
6.50pm Barley View
7.05pm Knowsley Crescent
7.20pm Britannia (as far as New Line)
7.40pm Facit Fold
7.50pm Longacres
Please note - times and route may vary due to traffic and weather conditions.
Come and meet Santa at one of the allocated stops and collect a bag of sweets or wave to him from your window as he drives by!
