Zen Internet go the extra mile for Hospice support

Date published: 08 November 2016

Staff at Zen Internet have raised £9,000 for Springhill Hospice.

Having nominated Springhill as its 'Charity of the Year' twelve months ago, Zen staff have been pulling together to support the Hospice with everything from cake bakes to car washes – and lots of running, which included the Great North Run, Great Manchester Run and the Rochdale 10K with Zen Managing Director Richard Tang also taking on the Cologne Half Marathon.

Zen’s charity fundraising ‘Scrum Master’ Natalie Hodgson said: “We have had a brilliant time raising money over the past year for Springhill and could not have been happier to support such a worthy local charity.

"Many colleagues here have personal experience, in one way or another, of the quality of care they provide and we are all delighted to have reached the £9,000 figure.”

Julie Halliwell, Chief Executive at Springhill Hospice, said: “This is a magnificent achievement by everybody at Zen Internet and a huge amount of money to raise. I would like to thank everyone who joined in, in so many ways, to support the Hospice with so much enthusiasm.”

Zen’s nominated charity for the next 12 months is Petrus Rochdale.
