Date published: 28 November 2022

Heywood company GJD has opened new training facilities at its head office.

The new facilities will be used to deliver CPD certified perimeter detection and LED illumination course to security installers and custom integrators, as well as other training courses that the company provides.

The new training facility features working product display boards and is a modern and ‘hands-on’ learning environment, providing space for security installers to learn all about the latest technology.

Installers will be able to dial into the network and explore the programmable features of IP detectors and IP LED illuminators.

They will learn how to integrate GJD’s products with third party security and home automation systems, such as Hikvision, Milestone, Dahua, LILIN, Control4, Crestron and RTI.

Attendees will also be able to see laser detectors, which are setup and working for live product demonstrations, training, and testing.

The CPD training will equips security installers with the skillset and understanding needed to become an expert GJD security installer.

Gary Williams, GJD’s Technical Support Manager, commented: “We are proud to announce the launch of our new training facilities. GJD has always provided professional installers with outstanding technical support.

“However, the investment in our new state of the art training facility means we will be able to provide installers with practical training sessions on a regular basis.”

Founded in 1983, GJD has 40 years of expertise providing premium external intruder detection solutions.
