An Aladdin’s cave of arts and craft materials

Advertorial

Some familiar local faces in the world of arts and crafts are back as M24 Arts opens in Middleton.

Formerly Rochdale Resource Centre, which was set up 23 years ago, has since become a staple (pardon the pun) in the local community. In May this year, after being unfortunately forced to close down, the Resource Centre re-launched as M24; bigger and better than ever.

M24 Arts is a one-stop-shop for all your low-cost arts and crafts supplies; they also offer schools, nurseries, play groups, community groups and businesses their services, too.

Crayons, poster paints, sugar paper… M24 is stocked with those best-quality essentials at the best prices in town.

A friendly, experienced team of qualified play workers and teachers are even on-hand to arrange fun events and workshops on the premises to cater to all interest and skill levels. If you’re new to the world of art come down, meet the team and get stuck in.

If you’re looking for a cheap, guaranteed way to entertain the children this summer, try an M24 Arts workshop. Experienced in working in local schools, community groups and children’s clubs, the team offer a variety of exciting, creative activities for children of all ages, including:

• Arts and crafts sessions
• Traditional games
• Badge-making
• Junk modelling
• Card-making
• Jewellery-making

M24 boasts an Aladdin’s cave of special, eco-friendly products just waiting to be made into a work of art.

One man’s waste is another’s treasure, and M24 know good arts materials when they see them. Saved from landfill, the Middleton store stocks end-of-line material rolls and cotton bobbins too fine to go to waste, amongst other pieces.

And if you’re looking to loan arts equipment and get expert advice on running a workshop of your own, M24 are happy to help.
