Free Summer Spectacular Kids Clubs at Rochdale Exchange!

The Rochdale Kids Club members are in for a treat this summer. Every Monday in August, new and existing members can take part and enjoy the Summer Spectacular Kids Clubs. The workshops are free and there is no need to book, just turn up on the day.

New members will receive a goody bag at their first Kids Club to say welcome. Parents just need to fill in a registration form to receive the membership card and goody bag. When you become a member you will then receive a birthday card from Rosie and a birthday gift. Rosie will be at each Kids Club throughout the Summer Holidays and the children can have their photo taken with her to take home.

The workshops run between 11.00am and 3.00pm and children attending the workshops will get to take part in:

Monday 5 August
Dancercise classes with the Kids Club leaders every half an hour where children will learn a dance routine and keep fit and active. And the end of the workshops, children will be presented with a certificate to take home.

Monday 12 and Monday 26 August
Story time and craft activities featuring Harry Potter, Jabberwocky, Jack and the Beanstalk and other fictional characters. Listen to the story and help the Kids Club leaders act the story out. The children will then get to use their imagination to draw the characters and make masks, puppets and more.

Monday 19 August
Kids Club members will get to meet Adam Morgan, a British Touring Car driver and learn all about racing car driving. Children can try on the racing car driving gear, including the helmet and race remote control cars round the track. All attendees will receive a certificate to take home with them at the end of the workshop.

“Our Kids Club workshops are proving as popular as ever with almost 500 members. We know it’s tough and expensive to entertain the kids during the 6 week school summer holidays, so we are here to give a helping hand with our free Summer Spectacular workshops,” said Lorenzo O’Reilly, Centre Manager at Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre.

On the Kids Club page on the website you can also download free activity sheets to help keep the kids entertained.

The Kids Clubs aren’t just for the kids, parents can get involved too with great summer discounts and back to school deals from retailers and market traders. Each parent will receive a voucher flyer including discounts from Claire’s and Coffee Options.
