AST Hampsons boost expansion plans with new team

Date published: 07 July 2015

A new team has joined AST Hampsons. Having spent the last nine years growing and developing Title Transfer Property Lawyers (TTPL) Anna Murzell and Helen O’Sullivan and their team will bring QualitySolicitors AST Hampsons a breadth of experience in many fields and support the firm’s plans for growth in conveyancing as well as other parts of the organisation.

Commenting on the appointments, AST Hampsons Partner, James Taylor said: “We are thrilled that Anna Murzell, Helen O’Sullivan and their team have joined us.

"I am very proud of our existing team and feel very sure that Anna’s team will make us even stronger.

“Like ours, Anna’s team includes customer experience as their top priority.

"This is an exciting time for not only our conveyancing department but also for the firm as a whole.

“Helen O’Sullivan is a very experienced conveyancer and if ever we were asked to name a conveyancer we respected in Rochdale, Helen’s name would always come up. She is very hard working and enthusiastic.”

The newly expanded conveyancing department will still be headed by Mr Taylor and Anna Murzell will join the firm as a Management Executive and will assist with business development initiatives in conveyancing and also in all other departments.

Anna was chosen due to her unique background as a businesswoman, which will serve the firm’s growth plans.

Anna said: “The team and I are all very excited to have joined AST Hampsons and are looking forward to helping grow and develop the conveyancing department and other areas of the firm.

“The rest of the team is made up of Maria Brierley, a highly experienced legal secretary, and three young ladies who are on a business apprenticeship scheme through Hopwood Hall College. They are eager to learn and create a career for themselves.”

QualitySolicitors AST Hampsons has a workforce of 48 over four offices in Rochdale, Bury and Manchester.
