£100,000 re-brand for the Deckers Hospitality Group

Date published: 08 October 2015

The Deckers Hospitality Group, which owns five hospitality establishments in the North West, has undergone a substantial £100,000 re-brand.

The Group owns and operates two hotels and five restaurants in the North West including The Royal Toby Hotel, Cenetta, Crimble Hall and The Peacock Room in Rochdale.

The re-brand was designed to link the venues together whilst providing them with individual identities.

The re-brand included new logos, a new guest-focused positioning statement and a new website.

Each individual venue has also been given a unique website and URL, which links back to the main Deckers Group website. The branding has been carried through to the signage and literature used by the venues, to provide a consistent look.

The Royal Toby Hotel, in Castleton, has been given a polished, high quality feel as it attracts both corporate clients and guests looking for a quality wedding venue and restaurant.

Crimble Hall in Bamford, formerly known as The Crimble, has been re-named so that guests can get a feel for its beautiful building and rural location. The venue is home to the Group’s largest restaurant, The Conservatory, which provides beautiful rural views through its conservatory windows and ceiling. The Peacock Room, which is also part of Crimble Hall, has been given an art deco style logo to reflect the decor and the fact that it's a dining experience for special occasions.

Next year, part of Crimble Hall is also being refurbished and will be called Fenton's Lounge, an informal and welcoming area that references Joseph Fenton, a renowned local photographer and mill owner who lived at the Hall in the 1800s.

Richard Stansfield, Marketing Communications Manager for The Deckers Group, commented: "The re-brand, the first in six years, has been a challenge for us, as we wanted to get it right and capture our key messages that focus on produce, people and place. The venues are very unique and each have their own quirks and features, so bringing them together under one group, whilst keeping their own identities, has been a careful but very interesting process.

"We are extremely happy with the new-look websites, branding and logos. They capture the quality and provenance of each establishment, and each have their own individual twist whilst clearly being part of the same brand. The brand icons were hand-drawn, making them even more special and unique."
