John Bene-Doszpoly wins with Tryline

Date published: 25 April 2014

John Bene-Doszpoly was presented with a cheque for £100 by Hornets captain Wayne English having scooped the prize in the Rochdale Hornets Buzzline Daily Lottery Draw.

John is a regular at the Dyers Arms in Littleborough and is one of 20 locals in ‘The Dyers’ who all pay £1 a week to landlady Bree to each get a chance to win any of six draws every week, with prizes range from £100 to £1,000.

John commented: "We have only been playing a few weeks so to get a win this early on is great.

"I'm looking forward to our day out at Hornets with our regulars in the near future, we will get a minibus full together, have a few drinks and then, of course, head back to the Dyers to celebrate a Hornets victory."

Tryline is a new initiative the club's Buzzline Lottery has introduced to try to encourage local pubs to get behind the club's fund-raising efforts whilst at the same time giving everyone a great chance to win prizes.

All paying members have a chance to win and all 20 members also get a VIP day as guests of the Club, with match tickets in an Executive Box as well as numerous other match day perks being provided as a thank you for their £20 per week on-going membership of the Tryline scheme.
