Fiji International Ryan Millard looks set to return from injury against Keighley Cougars at Cougar Park this Sunday, as Hornets look to build momentum ahead of the eagerly anticipated Spotland return next week.

Millard missed the battling display at Halifax last week with a knee injury but has trained well all week and looks sharp and ready.

Stuart Littler will remain on loan with the Hornets until the end of the season, along with flying winger Shaun Robinson.

The loanees will soon have some competition as Gareth Langley's MRI scan reveals damage to his ankle will lead to a four week lay off. Mike Ratu also remains sidelined for a similar length of time.

Sean Casey is also ready for a return meaning coach Talbot has plenty of options ahead of the Keighley game.

Hornets coach Ian Talbot said: "I was happier with the performance at Fax even though we didn’t get the bonus point. We still made a few errors that we shouldn’t be making and at this level you get punished. We need to get a smile back on our faces and get back to enjoying our rugby, then the results will come.

"We did a detailed video session on Tuesday and then put to the game to bed, and we looked very sharp on Thursday evening.

"I have a bit of a conundrum this week as we have some quality players on offer from St Helens who have added some spark at training this week but that means some will miss out.

"As always, I will pick what I think is the best 17 available and we are going for a good performance ahead of our return home next week."

Business Breakfast

The Rochdale Hornets business breakfast is being hosted in partnership with Growth Accelerator, Molesworths, Winning Pitch and The Geeky Group.

Club Chairman, Mark Wynn, commented: "We have hosted similar evenings in the past but this is set to be the most popular ever.

I have attended a few Growth Accelerator led events recently and they are fantastic.

"The speaker will be really good, the networking fantastic and I’m sure the bacon butties will be good too.'
