It was another successful year for students at Cardinal Langley when they collected their GCSE results with an overall pass rate of 99.5% and 70% of students achieving five A* to C grades. Students achieved excellent results in a wide range of subjects with 100% achieving A* to C in Physical Education, ICT, Biology & BTEC Sport.

Dermot Rainey, Assistant Headteacher, Cardinal Langley RCHS, said: "Our students have once again done themselves proud and thoroughly deserve their excellent grades. All students have worked towards their own goals and this year 70% have achieved their targets while an impressive 37% have exceeded them.

"This is a real testament to the strength of our community and the mutual support between all staff and students.

"This year 73% of all grades were A* to C and is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of all members of our community.

"These results give students a solid foundation on which to start their post 16 courses and we are expecting a record number to enrol in the Sixth Form."
