Rochdale Foodbank
We received an email this week from Rochdale Foodbank following our harvest donation last week. We donated 250.75kg of food, which is the highest from any school in Rochdale. A fantastic effort, thank you to everyone!.

A group of children from our Breakfast Club, accompanied by Mr Walsh & Mrs Cunnew, attended an event at FC United in Manchester this week. This was organised by the charity His Church who work alongside Kellogg’s helping support breakfast clubs.

The children took part in activities with other schools and at the end of the event we were given a large donation of cereal for school. We will be sending home a box with every reception child. Please can parents encourage your children to have a healthy breakfast before school. There are still places available in Breakfast Club for after half term, please see the office for details.

Children will be having their photos taken by the school photographer on Friday 4 November. They will take individual shots and also family photos of any siblings within school.

The majority of parents will have now met with their children’s class teacher. As always we thank parents for their support. If any parents have not yet had a meeting, an appointment will be arranged after half term.

Have a wonderful half term holiday and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 31st October at 8.50am for the start of Autumn Term 2.

Well done to the following children who were treated on the last day of term in school to a Pizza treat in recognition of their outstanding behaviour and manners over the last half term during lunchtime.
