The Rotary Club of Middleton Father Christmas float that took to the streets of Middleton throughout December raised £5,000.

Keith Trinnaman, treasurer of The Rotary Club of Middleton said: "Thank you to our army of volunteers that made the running of the Rotary Middleton Christmas Float 2016 possible, we have raised an amazing £5,000 to help with Middleton causes in 2017.

"Thank you to all the Middletonians who turned out in their hundreds to welcome us and Father Christmas, its your generosity that will be funding local projects in 2017."
