Norden’s Jubilee Park awarded Silver Gilt at RHS In Bloom

Date published: 03 November 2017

Norden’s Jubilee Park has enjoyed more success following the RHS In Bloom awards with a Silver Gilt award for their ‘Pocket Park’ entry.

The Silver Gilt award is the highest level for new entries which are judged over a two year period, and follows the park’s success with a level 5 outstanding award in the ‘Its Your Neighbourhood’ category on Wednesday.

Chairman of the park Paul Ellison said:” Our Friends of Norden Jubilee Park group and volunteers have worked all year round to achieve this and again bringing success back to Norden Village once again. I would also like the thank Rochdale Council Environmental Management for all their help.

“I'm over the moon: the park each year is going from strength to strength and this award is a credit to all involved. We are now a central focal point of Norden Village for all to enjoy, let's keep Norden In Bloom. I have big plans for the park and will hopefully bring back gold next time.”
