A comic opera in two acts, with music by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W. S. Gilbert.

Generations: An inter-generational performance by Skylight Circus Arts – Skylight Circus Arts Studio, Fri 27 & Sat 28 April, 2.30pm & 7.30pm

Generations is a circus-theatre show which bridges the ages by bonding the talented skills of these performers and draws from their stories to take us on a journey with them, using tightwire, trapeze, juggling and a suitcase or two.

Fusiliers parade through Rochdale for 50th anniversary Rochdale Town Centre, 11.15am

The parade will head west along Yorkshire Street, cross the bridge at the bottom of Yorkshire Street and turn right onto the Esplanade. It will then march past the Memorial Garden for a salute at the Cenotaph at 11.30am and continue to the rear of the Town Hall where it will terminate.
