Hundreds of people paid their respects to those who died serving their country at Wardle Memorial Gardens for the annual remembrance service (Sunday 13 November).
Mayor Ray Dutton, Mayoress Elaine Dutton, Lord Lieutenant Ian Sandiford, Simon Danczuk MP, Councillor Ashley Dearnley, Councillor Rina Paolucci-Escobar, Councillor Ann Stott JP and Councillor John Blundell attended.
Wardle Academy Brass Band led the procession from the top of Wardle Village and paraded down Ramsden Road to Wardle Memorial Gardens.
The service was conducted by Reverend Mike Howarth.
