"It was a plucky, spirited performance from our boys and the whole town is proud of them."

Rochdale earned a replay, which will be played at Wembley on Wednesday 28 February, currently Tottenham's 'home' ground whilst their new stadium is under construction.

Councillor Brett added: "For a team like Rochdale to be playing at Wembley is a massive achievement and an opportunity I know they will grasp with both hands.
