The appeal letter

Dear Sir / Madam,

I believe that this penalty should not be paid and I wish to challenge this please. My vehicle had a valid ticket and I have attached the details. It appears that the ticket fell off the window and landed upside down. This was absolutely unfortunate circumstances beyond my control, but as you can see, I do have a valid ticket which I will continue to retain this in the meantime. I would be most grateful if you could understand the genuinely unfortunate circumstances, and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Your sincerely,

Tom Bishop.

I am pleased to inform you that I have accepted your explanation in response to the Penalty Charge Notice detailed above.

Please note this waive does not set a precedent for any further Penalty Charge Notices which may be issued.  Any future Penalty Charge Notices incurred as a result of this contravention may not be waived.

The Penalty Charge Notice served in connection with the contravention has now been cancelled.

Yours sincerely
