Local man sentenced to four years in jail

A local man has been sentenced to four years in jail.
Jason Norman Charnley (04/02/1988), of Roch Mills Crescent, Rochdale, pleaded guilty to one count of inflicting grievous bodily harm after appearing at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester on Monday (5 March).
He was sentenced to four years in prison, and the court agreed one further charge of causing grievous bodily harm would remain on file.
