The Harvest Festival & Holy Communion at Christ Church Healey will be at 10.00am on Sunday 14 October with The Rev. Andrew Howell, followed by refreshments and finger buffet in the Parish Hall.

Christ Church, Healey Morning Prayer will be on Thursday and Friday at 8.30am.

WW1 Memorabilia - We are looking for any items that can be put on display on Remembrance Sunday. If you have any we can use, please contact Carole or Ruth.

Christmas Draw - Yes, it’s getting to that time of the year again. Can you offer a prize for the draw this year? If you can please add your name to the list at back of church

Rochdale Foodbank - Donations for the Foodbank required please. Long life Milk, Coffee, Sugar, Pasta, Packet Soups, Toothpaste & brushes. Toiletries.

Forthcoming Events

Saturday 13 October: Bell ringing tour of towers. From 11am – 11.45am the Yorkshire bell ringer’s association will be ringing our bells as part of a tour of bell towers in our area. On Remembrance Sunday we will be ringing our bells at 12.45 as part of a nationwide ringing to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.

Sunday 14 October at 10am - Harvest & Dedication Service. This joyous service for the whole family will be followed by a buffet lunch in the Parish Hall. Monetary donations welcome on the day. Please encourage the children to bring their harvest gifts to display in church

Licensing of Rev’d Gill Barnett - This will take place on 21 October at 7pm at Christ Church. There will be refreshments served in the hall following the service and time to chat to Gill. In preparation for this there is a lot to do to tidy up the east end, and also gardening to tidy and mow the graveyard. If you could help please see Jenny or Lyndsey.

200 Club - The 200 club has restarted. There are numbers still available for anyone to join. Spread the word with friends and family. There will be a weekly £10 prize and twice a year a £50 prize. Please see Alison Williams for more details.

Craft & Coffee Morning - Friday 26 October 10am. – 12noon. If you fancy a bit of company. If you like chat or enjoy a variety of crafts on the go then pop in and join us. We would love to see you.

Quiz night and Potato Pie Supper - 19 October 7.30pm. Tickets available from John Maloney Come and make up or join a team.

Macmillan Coffee Morning - Saturday 20 October 11am. Donations gratefully received. Please contact Patricia for what is needed

Healey Singers - Weekly, each Wednesday at 7pm.
