Heywood veterans present cheque to Harwood Park school thanking pupils for Remembrance Sunday efforts

The chairman of Heywood veterans presented a cheque to the Headteacher of Harwood Park on Wednesday (21 November).
Chairman Chris Harris presented the £100 cheque to Mrs Davies, thanking her for their pupils’ hard work on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday on 11 November.
Pupils decorated the railing in front of the Memorial Gardens with a link of homemade poppies featuring a verse showing the pupils’ respect for the two world war anniversaries.
