Milnrow’s annual music festival – Milnrow Calling – will return for a third year at Milnrow Cricket Club on Saturday 2 September.

The line-up of artists for the event will consist of up-and-coming artists, top tribute acts, local bands and community groups.

Acts already announced include Ellie Sax, Eltonesque, Manchester Ska Foundation, Shenanigans, Funktion and Co., and much more.

Food and drink vendors include Benjamin’s Italian Pizza, Bombay Brew Kebabs, Hoof Flipped the Toastie, Mama Chillis, Yankeeshire Diner, Penguin Cakes, Tony’s Ice Cream.

Children’s entertainment will include a comedy magic show from Britain's Got Talent’s Steve Royle, Greatest Showman duo, bouncy castles, and face painting and festival glitter.

Festival organiser Ben Wright said: “This is set to be the best Milnrow Calling yet. I’m over moon with the line-up we have put together.

“Nothing brings people together like brilliant live music, great food and drink in the summer.

“The demand for tickets has been incredible since we went on sale so we know there will be a good crowd there to enjoy a great event, we are really excited and looking forward to the biggest Milnrow Calling Festival yet.”
