Asbestos - public meeting tonight (Tuesday)

Asbestos experts are hosting a public meeting tonight at the Town Hall.
Save Spodden Valley campaigner Jason Addy will meet with Dr Greg Deleuil, of Western Australia, and Laurie Kazan Allen of the International Ban Asbestos Secretariat, to jointly discuss the dangers of asbestos related disease.
Mr. Addy is due to talk about the latest research on the products and decisions once made at the Rochdale Turner Brothers Asbestos factory that has created a legacy of death from the Spodden Valley to India and Pakistan.
The meeting will take place at 7pm.
