The monthly afternoon tea will take place on Wednesday (6 October 2010) at 4.30pm. This will be followed at 5.15pm by the Stitch 'n' Chatter group, and at 7pm by the Women's League meeting, when Alwynne Cartmell will lead a "Wellbing Worship."

On Saturday 9 October at 10am members of the congregation will join with those from other churches in the region for a recorded hymn sing from the new hymn book, "Sing Your Faith", at Cross Street Chapel in Manchester. Later that day there will be a modern sequence dance starting at 7.15pm. The whistle drive starts at 7pm.

Join us for morning service on Sunday (10 October 2010), when we will be remembering Sir Cyril Smith, a lifelong member of our church. This will be a chance for members of the church to remember Cyril in a more personal way, and say farewell to someone who contributed so much to the lift and indeed history of Rochdale Unitarian Church. It will be a time for us to share our memories of Cyril together in our worship. All are welcome.

Following the service, the cultural group will travel to Manchester to visit the Whitworth Art Gallery.

The Book Circle meets at 7.30pm on Monday 11 October, when we will be discussing "The Heretic's Daughter" by Kathleen Kent. Further information from Helen (01706 649015).

On Tuesday 12 October members of church will be attending the meeting of the Multi-Faith Partnership, when there will be a talk by members of the Rochdale Council of Mosques at Bilal Mosque, Bilal Jamia Jasjid, Bulwer Street, Rochdale.

There will be Meditation at the Manse on Wednesday 13 October. Further information from Rev Gillian Peel (01706 340465 OR 648461).

The walking group will meet at church at 1 pm on Saturday 16 October ready for the monthly walk. Further information from Helen (01706 649015).
