Man stuck in mud

Emergency services were called out at 3.20pm yesterday (Sunday 18 November) following reports that a man was stuck in mud.
North West Ambulance Service staff had rescued the man when Fire Fighters arrived on the scene at Syke Farm, Syke.
The man, who was stuck in mud up to his knees and surrounded by three foot of water, was not injured as a result of his ordeal and did not require hospital treatment.
