Springy hands a cheque to Mr Owen who won £5,000 in Springhill Hospice’s Summer Bumper draw
Mr Owen, from Milnrow, has won £5,000 in Springhill Hospice’s Summer Bumper draw.
Sarah Ford, Income Services Manager at Springhill Hospice, said: “It’s not every day you get a phone call saying you’ve won £5,000 and I think Mr Owen thought it was a joke.”
“But when Springy landed on his doorstep, cheque in hand, he soon realised that it was the real deal.”
The next Springhill Bumper draw is at Christmas. Keep an eye out for the tickets, or contact fundraising to be put on the mailing list.
